How one idea became a new Norwegian winter classic.
It all started with a simple question: Why isn't there a better version of the mini-ski we grew up with? The answer became OneFoot – a modern classic for new generations.
How Onefoot came to be
One winter's day, two friends watched their children try out old mini skis from the 80s. The straps broke, the plastic cracked, and the children laughed more at the skis than with them. That's when they decided: this can be done better.
They took the idea into the workshop, and after months of prototypes, testing, and adjustments, OneFoot Miniski was born. The first version had everything the old ones lacked: sturdy straps, a twin-tip design, studs under the sole for grip – and a look that was actually cool.
The result? A Norwegian innovation that hit right at the heart of winter fun.
Since its launch, thousands of pairs have glided into the snow – on slopes, in gardens, parks, and schoolyards across the country.
